Aged Tie Guan Yin from the early 2000s. A light wulong (oolong) tea from Xiping village in Anxi County, Fujian. Produced using the classical semi-manual xiao zheng method and aged for two and a half decades.
In 2023, we were looking for unique versions of Tie Guan Yin for the 300 years anniversary of the iconic tea. This batch is one of the more successful releases from that sourcing, a tea that has been aged in a dedicated aging warehouse by our TGY supplier who specializing in againg. The tea was baked (roasted) for the first time right befor its vacuum packaging in 2023.
A unique wulong tea for TGY fans and tea collectors, with a dark profile and refined honey sweetness. Ceremonial tea with presence and a slightly rough texture but with a smooth and deep finish. A rare version 300 years anniversary of the famous tea from Anxi province in Fujian.
