Light Wulong Tea from Bai Gu De Shan, Northern Nantou, Taiwan. Winter harvest, early November 2023, from a tea farm at an altitude of 1,950 meters, growing the local Qing Xin Oolong 青心乌龙 variety. A light and refreshing tea with a fruity, summery finish. Gao Shan Wulong 高山乌龙, pesticide-free (uncertified organic), with a relatively long withering process and a light roast, giving it a sweet and delicate flavor.
This tea comes from a sustainable farm that stands out in the Taiwanese landscape. We work closely with this farm, which collaborates with masters from all over Taiwan to produce various types of tea based on their expertise. There aren't many tea farms in Taiwan at an altitude of 2,000 meters that successfully grow Gao Shan tea using pesticide-free cultivation methods. The owner of the farm is responsible for several agricultural developments in the field of organic fertilizers that are environmentally friendly and beneficial for both humans and nature. The tea has been tested in our laboratory and is confirmed to be completely pesticide-free with over 500 toxic pesticides tested.
Recommended for drinking in warm seasons and transitional periods, throughout the day. It can be brewed using the traditional Gongfu method or Western style (see brewing instructions). The tea is packed in a 30 gram vacuum-sealed package.
